On September 8 2024,  Atlas Foundation brought families together for the Fammunity Care Package Craftshop, an interactive and creative event aimed at fostering family bonds and community spirit. Parents and their children worked side-by-side to personalized designs, from magazine excerpts to make vision boards, to custom designs curated to their imagination. With the craftshop filled with handmade designs, custom stories, and personal touches, the attendees were immersed in mentorship and community development.

 

The two-hour event was full of laughter, collaboration, and creativity as families browsed through magazines for inspiration, shopped for craft materials, and brought their vision to life. The kiddos had the opportunity to design personalized packages, while parents took on the role of branding experts, helping to create meaningful themes and concepts. With the guidance of designer Amera and builder Hussein, participants transformed simple craft supplies into beautiful care packages—each reflecting their own unique story.

 

The event wrapped up with a group sharing session where families showcased their creations and discussed how their designs represent community-building efforts. Attendees left with heartfelt memories, a sense of accomplishment, and an eagerness to participate in future events. It was truly an inspiring day of family bonding, creativity, and community outreach.
